For most people, your birthday is the best day of the year. A day of presents, and attention, and a crazy party with all of your friends. Not for Niva. Niva hated birthdays. She loved cake, and presents, and everyone being extra nice. She especially loved partying. The only problem? Niva was a Birthday Meta. That meant she could only die on her birthday, when she was an exact number of years old. Not so much a day of celebration and cake, and more like a day where she fought for her life. To Niva, it felt like the world was laughing at her. "Happy Birthday" it mocked, "Now die".
