Assistant District Attorney Trevante Rhodes is a hard-working man who is doing the job for the sake of justice. As well as raising awareness of the systematic oppression of African Americans in his daily endeavors as well as attending BLM peaceful protests and donating to the BLM movement. What will happen when he meets the baker of his dreams with baggage?

Chaia  Mochizuki is a baker and candy shop owner and Navy veteran. With a love for sweets and a black woman with amazing hard work and determination, she's always been a go-getter which has caused her problems in the past and can tend to make her a little ditzy at times. Chaia is all for her people and she is an advocate for the BLM movement as well as organizing peaceful protests  and charity events and as well as Go-Fund me pages  for the victims of Police brutality as well as other social injustices. But Chaia also has shortcomings and baggage just like any other person but what will she do when she meets Trevante? Will she let him in or will she push him away due to her baggage.
