Ellie's Mum and dad divorced two years ago and Ellie goes to live with her dad for a couple weeks but her dad probably isn't the sort of guy who would run for 'Dad of the year.' Ellie's dad lives in apartment near a Tv station because he is a crime reporter. One night Ellie sees a body fall from the level above, she panicked and goes to tell her dad but her dad is gone so Ellie goes back to the body but that is gone too. Someone known what Ellie just witnessed and the next 24 hours could be her last..

Alone. A simple word that has always held many meanings to Ella, and starting her senior year at a new high school, solitude had seemed the easiest way to go.
