"Keith," Lance began softly, sympathetic for the boy. He hesitated when deciding to take a seat next to him, sitting down when Keith didn't move to say otherwise. He paused for a moment, thinking of what to say.
The two weren't super close, but they were teammates. Even though Lance won't admit it, he'd call Keith a friend.

Keith Kogane was chosen to pilot the Black Lion. However his confidence in being Voltron's new leader wavers. How could he ever fulfill Shiro's shoes? Lance notices his teammate's struggle, and although the moment they share is brief, it is a reassuring turning point for Keith Kogane and Lance Mcclain.

Alright guys I wrote this very short story in 2018 and had it sitting in my notes since. I touched up a few things, mostly typing errors, but overall it's the same: pretty quick, and nothing too special.
RIP Voltron, you deserved better, here's a tiny klance moment that would be the turning point of their enemies to lovers trope, or at least what (I personally believe) should have been enemies to lovers.
