Aubrey is one of the last of her kind. The Adjuderra's were a race of half-human half-dragons. they lived alongside humans, dragons, Elves, and many other races until they were killed off by a demonic race wanting power. However, the government of the kingdom also wanted some of this power. they made a deal with the demonic race and helped them destroy their race. After the battle was over in the end the demonic race didn't get what they wanted and the governemt covered up what had happened. The government declared that the Adjuderra's and Dragons were planning an attack and etraying the humans. Aubrey now an orphan alongside Eric, they must stay hidden with the Elves. They thought for years as they grew up that they were the only ones left until one day when an Old tower only know by the adjuderra's and Dragons were displaying a distress signal.
