Marcy feels that she is damaged, possibly beyond repair. But broken things are sometimes very functional and she considers herself a useful type of person. She likes Ralf, she likes his body, his hands, the soft skin just behind his ear. He likes her too, she can tell by the way he wraps around her like a jacket made for her frame. But life is complicated, she is too young, he is too old, and they are both far too damaged. So she settles, and he settles, and together they settle for something secret, dirty, and quite possibly a sin.
