The war ended 6 years ago. It's been two years since Zuko and Katara have seen each other. The Gaang tries to see each other as much as possible, but as time goes on, it gets harder. During a much needed break, the Gaang reunites to celebrate Suki and Sokka's engagement. When an inconvenience joins the group, Katara and Zuko are faced with the decision to either give into their feelings which have been bubbling under the surface for nearly 7 years, or do what their respective nations expect of them.

Their relationship resembled a comedy of errors, starting with a bang and never quite finding its way to peace. Inara and the bald boy's initial encounter set the tone for their turbulent dynamic. Wishing death upon someone's bison and blasting a girl into the nearest wall isn't exactly the stuff of friendship bracelets. And as the years rolled by, their mutual disdain seemed to ferment into a full-bodied grudge, complete with extra layers of snark and eye-rolls. What happens when Zuko's eighteenth birthday comes around, and the Gaang frantically compiles a birthday celebration? Probably disaster. POV Katara Crazyness, awkwardness, and a little bit of romance make up this short story. Enjoy! If you have any questions, just ask. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe? Can the group move past it, and continue on? Will Aang ever get over Katara and find someone new? Knowing it's never easy ridding the feeling of that first love. And one of the most importance will Zuko find his mother? On a different note Azula, the sister of the new firelord, has been in prison for quite some time, there is obviously no way of her being released on good behavior. She plans to escape and find Tai Lee and Mai and "ask" them once again to join her side and take her revenge on her brother Zuko, Katara, their friends, and the Avatar. And plans to overthrow and take over the fire nation, feeling that her father apparently wasn't strong enough to hold his place.

~ Childhood best friends to strangers to enemies to lovers ~ Yah Ik. ☯ As Mai's younger sister, Virra often fell victim to the cruel games and tricks of Azula, Mai and Ty Lee growing up. So an alliance with Azula's older brother Zuko seems completely logical. With the years, Zuko and Virra became best friends, they were extremely close and spending all of their time together, right up until the moment Zuko was banished. It is an understatement to say that things ended on 'bad terms' so, when Virra sees Zuko for the first time in five years since he left, things don't go exactly to plan. Virra, a non-bender who is not only good at but enjoys holding grudges tries to find her way after she is left behind by Mai to join Azula's 'elite squad'. She needs to find her place in this story and plans to make good by joining team avatar to redeem herself from the horrible family and nation she comes from.
