A story about a teen boy whose life is about to be much more than it appears to be. Join him as he begins an adventure of a lifetime.

Starfire lives in a world where dragons and dragonriders are everywhere. She ran away from home when she was little due to bad living situations and lost her dragon when she was nine. She was then cursed for eternity. And then a boy shows up, and he appears to be her dragonrider. She doesn't even know if that's possible, due to the fact she used to be human. Welcome to a collection of poems I've written over the years. Some are a true delve into meaning and life. While others struggle with love and strife. The path ahead is not so easy. Please be careful reader, the mind is not so easy.

𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭.

In a world where monsters and man must coexist, a teenage boy comes to terms with his half-human self. He writes of his struggles and choices in a red leather journal, one which he intends for his future child. It is a story of emergence, a coming of age, or a transformation of the self through which all people go through. But not all transformations are for the better. And not all things can be forgiven. Warning: Some topics and themes may not be suitable for all readers. Reader discretion is advised.

This is a story about individuals trying to make peace with the lives that they lived. It's a dark, depressing story with some humor beats here and there. It does tell of suicide and other sensitive topics. Told in hopefully a respectful way. The idea was for this to help me sort through my past and help my present state of mind. Hopefully this might help at least one other in the same way.
