Athalia's Curse

Athalia always had the coldest eyes and she rarely smiles. It's so ironic how she badly hates the idea of love when, in fact, she's the daughter of Eros, the god of love.

Why does she hate the notion of love so much?

It's because she's under Hades' curse

A curse to pay for her father's mistake from the past.

A curse wherein she's forbidden to love a person back, because whenever that love is mutual between her and another, THAT PERSON WILL DIE.

It is also the main reason why she doesn't want to be overly attachmed to someone, no matter who they are. For all its worth, she's a pro in pushing people away from her. But everything was turned upside down when she met Jonas. The man who will make her life more challenging than it already is.
