I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! LolConcluida

Can Divit is a turkish internationally famous actor, who comes back to Istanbul after 6 months in USA. Tired of years of parties, women and that kind of wild lifestyle, he just wants to settle down for a while, but...what does that "settle down" really mean to him and what if he meets the love of his life..? Sanem Aydin is an autonomous beautiful young woman with her own perfume and cream business, who lives a quiet bohemian life, loves to dance and who only wishes to find her prince, the love of her life, one day soon...but will she find the right kind of prince, the kind she can trust her heart to..? ***Adult contents (NOT PORN) = pure lovemaking (yes, which means some hot, romantic sex with very much love included ;)*** ************************************************************** To me, Erkenci Kuş is the most mesmerizing story I've ever seen on screen, I adore Canem and always will. After watching it a hundred times with spanish and english subtitles and after reading so many fantastic fanfiction stories here on Wattpad, I wanted to give my own story a try. Mostly is about to try to understand how deep their feelings got for each other in a very short time, how bad jealousy can be, how it can hurt and how it can make a person act. I am quite romantic, so a happy ending is a must! And some sex as well, (as sex was not needed in EK but would have been appreciated, for sure) at least I will give it a try. =) My story is definitely not so conservative as EK, characters are not being so traditional, it's about a more modern lifestyle. 🔥💣WARNING!!💣🔥 To read this story, well...a good imagination would be great; you need to imagine and remember the scenes before and after the scenes I have re-written in each chapter. And, could be you also may need a bit of a naughty mind and it's absolutely a must to enjoy hot sex and lovemaking! If you don't...🚫DO NOT READ IT!🚫 (I prefer to let you know in advance, as in this way we'll save you time😏) I really love EK just as it is, but...what if we do add some hotter scenes? At least I've decided to give it a try, so..! 🤗 I will take one scene (or two or three) from each chapter, turn it hotter somehow and, probably, I'll have to change the storyline a bit, as to make the "hotness" fit in. With other words, whatever was impossible in EK, will definitely be possible here. (Please, have in mind that the options are limited when it comes to where they are and the circumstances, so if there is similar sex in different chapters...I'm sorry about it, hard work to come up with new things in each and every one 🤷🏼♀️) There are a few chapters of EK I have seen only once or twice, "the boring ones", but I have seen most of the others a hundred times each. I'm just saying, in case there are any kind of mistakes, have it in mind as everything else, please. There will also be a couple of chapters with no possible scenes to turn hotter, I hope you'll understand that, too. In my other stories I always managed to write chapters with at least 3500 - 4500 words each; as those stories came straight out of my head, it was quite easy to keep up to that, but now...I still don't know. More likely, as it's only about shorter sex scenes, the chapters will be somewhere between 1500 and 2500 words. 🤞🏽you'll enjoy it, and have a happy read!!Concluida

This is an AU of the Turkish show Erkenci Kus. A show that has the two most chemistry filled leading couple I have ever seen in a show/movie. In this version Sanem has to leave her home and her family after finding herself in a heap of trouble with some unsavory characters. With the help of Aziz, an agent with the National Intelligence Organization, she moves to a small town where no one knows who she is to start a new life. Sanem tries to accept the fact that her old life is over and she may never be truly happy again. That is until she meets Can Divit.

Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Concluida
