Karma's Diary

This is the story of a person and their diary. The story will consist mainly of diary entries but, I will stray from that and write about their actual life in real time away from the journal. I'm open to any suggestions you have to progress the story. This is as much my book as it is yours. Feel free to contact me with your critiques and I'll take them to heart and try to fix it to your enjoyment.
It may run towards a supernatural element. I haven't decided yet so please let me know what you think of the idea.

Karma has a lot of issues.
They deal with many physical and mental health problems. They're always finding themselves in trouble. They spew bad luck. People make fun of their name because they always hurt others as the Hindu and Buddist "karma" would. Their father is abusive and unfaithful. Their mother is an acholholic. The mother takes a turn in the story. Their second born brother is a drug addict. Their eldest brother is relatively normal aside from a few mental and physical health problems. Their older sister is a barbie and has bulimia. Their youngest sister-
Is a surprise.
Their family hides a dark secret.
Will they find a way to escape it?
How can they run from their own thoughts?
