After escaping the strange castle, Akira is no longer the same as he was. He has started to experience both physical and mental changes. He isn't hungry and sleeping seems to become more of a hassle than a needed thing. The sun is burning his skin and hurting his eyes, while he seems to see better in dark. It was only when he looked at his faded reflection in the mirror; his ghostly pale skin, his golden eyes and newfound fangs, that he realized. Akira is no longer a human. He is now something else.

After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man. Takuto Maruki has decided that people cannot be allowed to think for themselves, and that they should never have to feel pain, well, unless you interfere with his plan. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. The Iron Guardian (A Human x Anthro Superhero Story)
A 22-year-old human boy builds a suit of armor, testing it only to inadvertently cause himself to escape the Earth's atmosphere, drifting off into a deep cryonic sleep, after tens of thousands of days in this frozen state. Then, after what feels like a long time drifting in space, he wakes up, entering a planet, believing he is re-entering Earth's atmosphere. However, when he lands roughly on the dunes of a beach, he realizes that the world he has entered is not Earth at all, but a society filled with anthropomorphic beings. Thinking this might be the only thing that exists, he is soon confronted with an attack in their city, where they are saved by superheroes who happen to be anthropomorphic creatures with superpowers, adorned in costumes that symbolize themselves. It seems unbelievable that they are real. In my world back on Earth, they were fictional and mythical icons found in comic books, movies, and TV shows. After rescuing a superhero from an encounter with a monstrous reptile-like creature in the city, he retreats to the woods. He hides for about a year, living and trying to gather as much knowledge as he can about this new world and the superheroes it contains. He believes he is living an easy life, away from the foreign society. But after saving a school bus filled with anthropomorphic kids from a disastrous fall, ensuring they would not be left behind, he is discovered again. However, at his long-awaited hiding spot, he was in the woods. He was greeted by an anthropomorphic tiger who happened to be the director of the superhero protection agency (SPA) and offered him a place in it.
