In the year 2034 located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is an orphanage. Everything seems alright on the outside, but on the inside there's something more sinister going on. When a child turns 16, if they are still living in the orphanage, they are taken away to a room on the far side of the building. Once there, they are murdered to make room for new orphans. The children don't know about this until they are taken away. Jane Rose McCartner and Alyssa Louise Harper would soon be facing this tradition. But what happens when they accidentally stumble upon one of the children being killed? Will they run? Will they be able to escape from this terrible fate?

Morgan has to get out. Something very wrong is going on at the First Street Orphanage, and she's not sure what. But even if her suspicions are right, how could she possibly prove it? She's only been there for a couple of years, but girls have been going missing and with her eighteenth birthday coming up, she's afraid she might be next. She has family in San Fransisco, so her best bet is to make it there and hope they'll take her in. But to get there is going to take some clever planning and if she's caught, it could mean the end for her. Is being brave enough or will she have to use every skill her older brother ever taught her to survive?
