Prince Christian Frederik Charles Laurent is soon to be arranged for marriage, as the Queen desires to extend the royal bloodline of the Laurent family for future generations. However, Christian is not interested in marrying the woman his parents and the Queen have chosen for him. Despite being an eligible bachelor at the age of 24, he desires to live a normal life.
Meanwhile, Sahara Mai Thomas, an american immigrant, moves to the UK to fulfill her dream of opening a pastry cafe. Little did she know that she would meet the royal prince Christian Laurent and become acquainted with him.

This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own.
