With a new year at Prufrock Preparatory comes a new and more realistic principal with more requirements. One of these requirements is for every student to be apart of at least one recreational activity.

When Violet doesn't join a group before the required time, she's paired with another boy (Duncan) that also didn't choose one in time to create their own club. 

Along with that, Violet's new roommate is becoming very suspicious and leads Violet to think she isn't really at Prufrock to learn but instead is out for her and her family.
