One year after the events of the defeat of Yaldabaoth, the God of Control, Akira Kurusu, now 18 and a former outcast and leader of the Phantom Thieves, has reverted back to being a normal student. He was framed and put under probation by a crooked politician, but Kurusu gained the ability of Persona to change people's hearts and get back at the politician for wrecking his life, with the help of his friends. Thankfully, Morgana, a talking cat created by the man of the Velvet Room, Igor, to assist Kurusu is with him as well. In another world, an empire filled with corruption is teetering on the brink of ruin, slowly growing even more disgusting with the Prime Minister's selfish actions. A group of Assassins called Night Raid are rebelling against the Empire, hoping to change it for the better. But the corruption is running deeper in most of the empire, forming extreme distortions that Night Raid can't face themselves.
