When you move into a new house you kind of expect it to be empty. Not for Hunter and his father though.
Hunter, along with his father have just moved from Idaho to California. His dad had just been offered a new job and it was probably best for them to get away from their recently found out homophobic mother and wife. Guess having a bi husband AND and gay some was too much. Hunter just hopes that he can meet someone he could click with. And he does.
Liam never wanted to die. No one really wants to die but his time came to early and for the wrong reasons. Liam's family was big and both his parents wanted their name spread everywhere. That's why having a gay son was just a disgrace to their family name. The selfish parents didn't understand anything past marrying a nice rich women and then having children as soon as possible.

The Hidden World book 1
In a world hidden from humans, where mythical creatures come to life and live in harmony with mythical plants, there are two brothers.A brother of creation and a brother of death and destruction. His friends argue saying they should go too. The strange man has to agree. When still in the human world, Hunter is shot with a poisonous arrow that has been banned for centuries. But there is only one person that can save him. But would they get there in time? Would he make it to the healer? Would his uncle take over before he can heal? If he makes it?

It wasn't just the families of the OC Housewives that were living a reality show; so many families seemed to be all about "the house" and not "the home." Sunglasses cost hundreds of dollars and "bags" were thousands. Everything had a label that said you spent a lot of money. People went crazy buying another house, a boat, a Hummer (at 10 miles to the gallon). I distinctly remember two couples, in their late 30s, who were shopping together in Toys R Us. They had a video camera and were discussing the "rules" to this shopping trip. The rules were they had to look into the camera and say what they were buying, for who and why. And the carts had to be overflowing with toys. It was as if they had dreamed their entire lives of doing a "who cares how much it costs" shopping spree at Toys R Us for their children. Just recklessly spending on a bunch of STUFF. That was 2007. And then came 2008. But, more disturbing to me, was the impact it had on families. I think moms and dads lost themselves in providing stuff for their kids and not giving their kids time. And I saw the kids suffer because of it. So, I did a little research and a lot of observing and I wrote a mostly fictional story about an upper-middle class family in the OC. It explores (it simple terms) what was going on in the economy and what teenagers really want from their parents...Concluida

3 years ago, my Step Dad adopted a son. His name was Hunter. For 13 years of his life, Hunter was neglected and abused by his parents. Beaten and raped, Hunter knew nothing good of the world. His Father eventually became a socio-path and shot the Mother. But as he was about to kill Hunter, Police arrived. The Dad shot himself instead. Hunter is now 16 and has been living in my family for 3 years. It's an understatement to say that we don't get along. Hunter is just angry at the world. He drinks and smokes and swears and fights. He kicks me and punches me simply because he's scared. He pushes everyone away. He has flashbacks and nightmares and can't seem to take anymore. Though I know he has reasons for being such an inconsiderate asshole, I still hate him. Our family has now moved to Cyprus. We're only staying for a while, so we just got a small appartment. Bad part about that? It's got 2 rooms. Me and Hunter have to share. At first I hate it. But then over the weeks, I begin to see how broken Hunter Storm really is. He's not just a dick, he's scared. And I'm slowly starting to comfort him through his troubles. We're getting somewhere, but then the worst possible thing happens. But strangley, it's bringing us closer. He's sleeping in my bed, he's crying to me, he's holding my hand. I'm holding him at night, I'm wearing his hoodies, I'm smiling at his touch. If you're not okay with that then I suggest you leave. I'm gonna go ahead and add a trigger warning, for suicidal themes, cutting, etc... Fair warning, this story is really poorly written. It's filled with plot holes, grammar errors, and everything else under the sun that makes a bad story. It pains me to reread it but it's like my own writing history so I don't want to take it down. ((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them.
