Stiles often dreamed of the night Peter had offered him the bite. 

He imagined how it could've gone differently, how he could've been the one saving everyone's asses, how he could've been strong and never have become the Nogitsune's prey. But, it was always just a dream, and he woke up skinny, defenseless Stiles Stilinski with enough emotional baggage to make all therapists in a 5-mile radius violently concerned. 

Now, after all, that's happening, he wished he had dreamed of something different, maybe a shitload of money, or maybe having his mother back.
