Life wasn't easy for an orphan, at least for Jwa Minji. Their battles with self doubt and feelings of being unwanted weren't atypical; they were outliers and Minji wasn't much of an exception.
After the age of six was when it started to go downhill, Minji's first heartbreak being her biological mother when the she dropped her off at an orphanage and never came back.
From her adoption at the age of thirteen by a family that didn't feel like hers to her final year of highschool, Minji didn't care for coming off as admirable anymore. She wanted to find something to spark her unbeating heart with thrill, a joy in life.
Minji wanted to make friends, make enemies, make trouble, fuck up, and truly live in the harsh world as her authentic self.
"Yeah, my couch pulls out, but I don't," Chenle said to the boy casually. Minji started choking again,
"What?"
