"Love can be difficult. Sometimes you fall in love with the wrong person, sometimes you fall in love with the right person at the wrong time. But if you play your cards smart, hold your deck close to your chest, place your bets just right, and don't fold, your chance at love can be your winning hand at life."
                                                                                                   ****
Heartless. If you were to ask anyone how to describe 17 Year old Kairo Woods that's the exact word they would spit out. No one knows his story, where he came from, or why he's the way he is and frankly no one cares. Even his "best friend" of 2 years, he keeps at arms length never quite letting her in and mean muggin everyone who even thinks about talking to him. After all that is what heartless people do.

Happy. If you were to ask anyone how to describe 18 year old Zyaire Moore that's the exact word they would gush out. Everyone knows his story, and where he came from, and why he's the way he is. Or at least that's what he lets people believe. His hundreds of "friends" adore him, throw him parties, and invite him everywhere and he goes to all of them "enjoying" the company and "laughing" the whole time. After all that is what happy people do... Right?

"Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought, immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places... All of those places involving a very hard part of my body... I glanced back at Leo; his gaze was still as intense as it was before (unfortunately). He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy (which has happened once before, but Ethan tries to forget it). Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy. Ethan tries to ignore the fact that his heart flutters every time he sees Leo, or that he can't ever stop thinking about him; but if having cancer has taught him one thing, it's that, "You have to live in the present, as you may not have a future."

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. What was supposed to be a fairytale relationship becomes a mentally and physically abusive one that Clark has trouble pulling away from. It is only when he is truly threatened that he decides to run away, and he finds himself in a whole other world. The Big City The people and friends he meets are wonderful, a large but tight-knit group that understands his life as a young gay man well. But his old life will never release him no matter how hard the man of his dreams tries to tell him otherwise. _________________________________________ (Book Two of Falling In Like. Can be read as a Stand-Alone) WARNING: This is one of the first books I started writing! Because it took a while to finish, the later Chapters have more of my newer (better) writing style compared to the beginning. This is a much more dramatic, angst type of book compared to my fluff-filled others. If you want slight frustration and cuteness all the way through, nearly every other book I have fits that description. Thank you ❤ Started: November 16, 2016 Completed: June 25, 2019
