Regina Banks was not a typical damsel. Everyone knew the brazen, boss lady who knows what she wants and understands her way around getting it. A lot also knew how much Regina craved the topmost top in the real estate industry and wouldn't settle for less.
A lot of people often referred to her as cunning, calculating, sassy and even bitchy. While very few knew her to be a sensitive young woman who was insecure about her plus size stature and the circumstances regarding her birth. Both of which she always tried hard to conceal behind her no nonsense facade.
When on a return trip from the gym, Regina managed to save a pickpocket from being lynched by passersby for stealing her purse and brought him to her house when he begged her for a meal, sparks immediately began to fly.
And when one thing led to another and Regina, a woman engaged to be married, found herself moaning the thief's name in her very own kitchen, she knew that things will never be the same anymore.
Karma is quick on this issue, for the thief struck again and carted away with her engagement ring. In other words, Regina was royally fucked.
As fate will have it, Sawyer Cole, her one night stand, turned up at her desk a few weeks later for a job interview and turned out to be the perfect man for the job. Regina's instincts tell her that more of her things are bound to get pilfered.
