Meridia Marquis was everything she was told she needed to be. She was going to be the first female alpha of her father's rising pack, Lucid Moon. She wanted to escape from the place she hated the most. The last thought on her mind every night was how adventurous she wanted to be. The Lucid Moon pack was known the be the pack that had it all. Both best and ruthless warriors, dangerous and merciless members and was always running into fights that they knew they would win.

Estavan Maylor was the definition of nobody. He was bullied at school, always keeping his head down, didn't even have a rank, and was practically invisible to everyone else. Estavan thought he was a disgrace, he didn't deserve to be part of such a strong pack when he was nothing but weak and broken. The only thing he had going for himself was something no one knew about him. He was an excellent swimmer because the water was the only thing he could get lost in.
