Wanting to keep her identity a secret, she keeps a hood up and lurks in the shadows when she goes to slaughter Jadis' followers. Everyone in Narnia calls her The Assassin, for no one knows who she really is. She feared by all who live in Narnia, including the White Witch herself. When Scarlett hears of a Daughter of Eve in Narnia, she is determined to protect her, as well as the three others. She knows that the two Sons of Adam and the two Daughters of Eve are her only chance at successfully killing the White Witch. What happens when she meets the Pevensies for the first time? Will she be able to protect them from Jadis, like she hopes? Or will she fail to protect them and Narnia perishes? What will happen when she starts to develop feelings for a certain blond-haired boy?

Adelaide Addington had a mundane life for a sixteen year old girl. She studied hard, kept her head down, stayed quiet, and had a solid, longtime friendship with her next door neighbor, Susan Pevensie. The two girls rarely hid anything from each other, always gossiping and giggling quietly under their breath, but there was one thing Adelaide swore she'd never tell Susan; her humongous, embarrassing crush on her best friend's older brother, Peter. When the war causes the four Pevensie siblings and Adelaide to take refuge in the quiet estate nestled in the English countryside and owned by a Professor, they find a mystical, magical wardrobe that brings them to a new world full of talking creatures, corrupt witches, and kingly lions and their lives become a little less mundane. During their wild adventures, maybe Adelaide's secret will finally come to light. All characters, other than Adelaide, and Narnia belong to C.S. Lewis. Enjoy this adaptation. x
