It's 2017 and Peggy Carter is alive and well and now working for the United States Government. When the plans to a devastating bomb are stolen it's up to Carter to do what she does best and retrieve the stolen information. But things don't go as planned when the handsome and charismatic MI6 agent Damian Griffin shows up on the scene looking for the same thing. After a game of cat and mouse, it is decided, against Peggy's wishes, that they must work together. 
As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Peggy Carter isn't the person she used to be. This is one of the ways the story could have gone if Bucky had been blamed for the assassination of the king of Wakanda.
