In the Fire Nation, Akira, a close friend of the Princess and son of an Admiral in the Fire Lord's inner circle, has not realised what his nation's work is until he visits the colonies in the Earth Kingdom. His nation is wrong and he realises the orders he carries out should have never been done. Even though the war has not reached the shores of the Fire Nation, his mind is in the middle of battle. It is time to take matters into his own hands - but can someone born in a family swearing allegiance to the Fire Lords be anything but a pawn?

Both can be deadly when misused. Water and Fire can't be too different. Or are they? Zuko is a fire bender, but not just any fire bender he is the son of the fire lord. Kadia is a water bender, the daughter of the village Chief. When events lead to Kadia being captured by the fire nation Prince she realises that although Fire and Water are often referred to as opposites, they might not be so different after all. Kadia learns to realises that the many lessons she learnt growing up where nothing but prejudice. Or where they? Can she get over her emotional scars and learn to heal? Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal?
