18 year old Jessica Anna-Marie Sylva has always been a little odd, ever since she was a child. Having issues with fitting in anywhere in her peer groups as a child, she found herself hiding away with nothing but her books to keep her company.
There was one set of books that she stumbled across in her early High School years that she felt most connected to; the books of the Night World. One story in particular was always her favorite of the bunch, SOULMATE, involving a beautiful, strong vampire whom she found herself relating to. The original vampire, Maya.
Her keen interest slowly evolved into an obsession and she found herself unable to resist the temptation of such a dangerous woman.
After graduation, she finds herself with less and less time to enjoy her reading and writing, but she always kept a lookout for her favorite book, and her obsession flares again with a fury when she finally does come across it again. But when she opens it, she finds herself to be, literally, pulled into the middle of her favorite book.
The question remains... Will she accept the way it's meant to be, or shall she rewrite the story to protect the woman she loves?
