Love And Animals- Hamilton Soulmate Au!

In this world, you are given a soul-animal at birth, except only you can see it. The animal will be visible to everyone by the age of 3, but you can only send your soulmate a letter at age 13, and what you use to write the letter is unable to be sent if it contains personal information, unless the two of you have met.

Now, the animal has special powers, these being:
1. The animal is able to deliver the letter either by running(if its a fast animal) or poofing (if its a slower, or smaller animal).
2. The animal will know what is written in the letter, and can refuse to send it due to the rules above.
3. The animal is able to control when it wants to be seen by others, you or a specific person.
4. The animal will also be your defender, if you're in danger, it will do its best to protect you(example: a fast animal will use speed to attack the foe, a sneaky animal will sneak off, attack, then dash to find help, etc)

I will focus on different people, so one chapters could be James' PoV and then the next can be Lafayette's PoV. This depends on the importance of the PoV, if nobody is truly important that moment then the PoV then it'll go (James, Thomas, Alex, John, Lafayette, Hercules)
