lee was an assassin. she was the second phase winter soldier, after that project failed. they called her dark rose. bucky barnes was a former hydra assassin, recovering at the avengers tower. the avengers, having been given intel on 'the storm', have gone to stop her. thinking it would be easy with their own former assassin on their side. they weren't expecting what was about to happen.
(this is set after 'the winter soldier' with the added plot of bucky being turned before civil war, and joining with the avengers. civil war never happened.)
