By his side, a butler, once a knight who will do everything to protect him.
This is a fanfic inspired by Camila Cuevas' story "Glitchtale Origins". Nothing is canon, this is an Au with my vision of the characters.

The Knight of Settadel
In an island in the middle North Atlantic ocean lies a Kingdom that is called Settadel which has a ruler named King Tristan Powell who is married to Lorie Powell, his Queen. For centuries, a family of Sorcerers and Sorceress' had kept the island hidden from the eyes of the others to ensure that no one would know their existence and to keep all residents safe from the eyes of hungry predators. But then, a tragedy shook the Kingdom when a massive earthquake has stricken; taking all of them off guard. Many lives were lost in this tragedy, but the one that had been affected the most was the family of Sorcerer's and Sorceress', the Duarte's, which had been reduced to one. Emilia Duarte, being the only remaining Sorceress, had been continued the legacy of her family and continued to keep the island hidden from the outsiders. Then, the news broke that an outsider was able to enter the island when the magic that had kept it hidden was taken down when the Duarte's had died. All were wary as none knew what people on the outside were like, all they knew was that they are hungry for power and wealth and would not hesitate to bring them down if they knew of their hidden wealth in the Kingdom. So when the outsider had made her presence known in the Kingdom, no one wanted to come near her even when she was offering a hand to help the residents restore their homes, shops, and other establishment, that is until an old lady didn't have a choice because everyone was busy rebuilding their lives and could not assist her to rebuild her home. So she accepted the help of the outsider and everyone was shocked by the risk that the old lady took. All of them were able to witness how the outsider had single-handedly rebuilt the home of the old lady. Soon, everyone was asking favors from her and the news had reached the palace.Complete

Ofelia believed that her father left her behind to die the day the Shadow Knights invaded her home. She remembered thinking that it was her end, but it wasn't due to the Shadow Knight's kindness to bring her in sympathetically. They too had experienced similar betrayal to Ofelia and that's why she's one them. Her main goal is to get the Shadow Lord to the top of world and to kill her father. That's all there is to it. But's that not the way it was supposed to be. Ofelia finds her home, destroyed and revisits her house and finds her diary, a scrapbook, and a bracelet, all of which will guide her down a path that she closed off and forgot about. It also leaves her to question everything she's ever thought and ever done when the truth finally reveals itself. The Quarter is quiet. Marcellus controls the vampires. The wolves live like outcasts in the Bayou. The Witches have a rocky peace with the vampires. The Mikaelsons raise Hope in their family home. All is peaceful, quiet despite the minor disputes. However the newest Scottish visitors have a long history that they plan on bringing to town. --- "They don't like the idea of new vampires in New Orleans." He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump.
