After an emotional breakup with her long-time boyfriend, 20-year-old college Junior Vanilla Bloom Diamond viewed herself as a weak person and believes nobody is ever going to accept her for who she is, because of her diagnose of sickle-cell anemia. Despite growing up with a rich loving family, because of her disorder she's not only a burden to others but a burden to herself. But when she invited to party a popular girl from her at school she met a tall dark and handsome stranger named Cesare Bloodmoon known to his friends as "Cherry", Vanilla would have a second chance of love once again. But little did she know is that Cesare is a 1600-year-old vampire trapped in a body of an 30-year-old.
Sooner or later, Vanilla Bloom would enter into a world like no other and would be solving an age-old mystery that took place in the roaring '20s in Manhattan, New York, and help a friend who was framed for the murder of a popular but hated classmate.
It's like a Twilight-esque vampire story, except it doesn't include sparkly vampires, but a vamp with killer looks.
