Claire has made it a past time of trying to end her life. she has struggled to manage the outcome, whether it is death at her own hand or find answers and live, and it is time to choose one or the other. To Claire. Death seems like a rational solution to complex issues. She is convinced there are no rainbows left in the sky and certain the greener grass does not exist on the other side. With many suicide attempts and as many failures, claire feels she is once again at the end of the rope, and this time, a short rope it is, many have suffered the loss of a loved one, friend or acquaintance to suicide, and most the time without warning. Too often, drugs, alcohol and sexual abuse play a vital role and can lead to depression and this is the leading cause of suicide; this is about all three.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
