Heart of Glass

In a world where a mutant, terrorizing enchantress who calls herself the Queen has taken over the remnants of the United States, no one is safe. The Queen's evil cyborgs, more commonly known as the Shards, are replacing all humans' hearts with glass ones that are traceable by the Queen at all times. She takes their real hearts and uses them to her own power, sucking the life and color out of anything and everything. When a band of humans that have escaped her terror discover a way to fix their broken world, Katherine Grey must go back in time to destroy the Queen and save her people. Things really get complicated when Werner comes with her, and they have to work together to save everything as they knew it.
