Quirks. Superpowers that most anyone holds nowadays. Quirks can range from anything from running a millisecond faster to the strength to change the weather with just one punch from the wind pressure it generates. Quirks are everything. Quirks define who you are. Every child is elated to discover their quirk and find out who they truly are. This happens around the ripe age of four years old. Some are natural-born heroes. Others are perfect for other occupations such as baking or being an artist. With such a high hope for the future that a quirk brings, one would think they would be happy to discover theirs and reveal just how useful they can be.
But...
What happens when your quirk dictates you as nothing more than a doll to be used by others?
Izuku Midoriya found out four-years-old that not all people are created equally.
He found out when he drew the short end of the stick of luck and ended up with a quirk worse than quirklessness.
He's dealt with it long enough.
Now it's time for Izuku to take hold of his own strings and stop letting others control his life. He won't be a doll forever.

The One and Only Deku
In a world full of superpowers called Quirks, not everyone is created equal. Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is well aware of this fact. Having been born without a Quirk he knows all too well the struggle that comes with being different. However, he never gave up wanting to help people, to be a Hero. Eventually, his wish was granted and he was given a Quirk by his all time favourite Hero, All Might. Now he bears the responsibility of being All Might's successor. Of course, he won't be alone. He has his friends and classmates to help him along the way. Nothing can shake his resolve to be a Hero.....well almost nothing. There is something that always manages to test his confidence - Girls. He can handle schoolwork, he can handle Aizawa, hell he can even handle villain attacks. But girls...those are too much for him. Little does he know that he is going to HAVE to deal with them as they decide that being friends isn't going to cut it anymore. Sit back, relax and watch as Deku deals with the not-so-subtle advances they make and his own growing (and extremely confusing) feelings. *INFORMATION* This AU fanfic takes place after the Overhaul Arc and the school festival. My Hero Academia: Nature's Heart
Izuku Midoriya has a very powerful Quirk. One that was all about nature. Because of that, he had grown to enjoy the company of plants and animals more than he did people. He was often made fun of for how he preferred nature to people, which only served to make him dislike people even more. But, despite that, Izuku wanted to be a hero more than anything. Being a hero would give him the biggest chance he had to be an advocate for protecting nature while also getting to help people. It helped that he had a large brain to match his big heart. Despite how he disliked people, he had a main hobby of analyzing Quirks. He kept journals with him at all times for his notes about Quirks. Eventually, Izuku gains the attention of the one and only principal of UA, Nezu. The only known animal to have a Quirk. Nezu had learned of Izuku, his Quirk analyzing, and his love of nature. He grew interested in the young man and decided to get to know him. Let's see how the journey of our favorite green-haired hero hopeful changes when he both has a Quirk and a slightly chaotic mentor. A Day With Too Many Izuku's
As well all know it, and to the pure misfortune of Aizawa, class A1's the class that everything happens to. More specifically, a certain green bunny is also always in the middle of those everythings. So it really shouldn't have been a surprise when our favourite character got hit by a quirk during his internship with Endeavour. Basically, It's another story about Aizawa finding out about the bullying problems Midoriya has had/ is having. Also includes Present Mic and All Might being worried dads. _ When Midoriya finally made it into UA, He knew it would be different. He wasn't sure how much, but it had to be different! Of course, the work and how the school works would be different, but he hoped the people there would be different, too. Mostly because he had a quirk now. He wasn't useless anymore and he was definitely not quirkless anymore. In all honesty, Midoriya didn't expect all the kindness he was receiving from his peers and teachers. Surely, the teachers knew he was quirkless beforehand, right? If they knew.. then why didn't they hate him? Besides All Might, he expected them to dislike him. (Midoriya only thought All Might cared because he used to be quirkless too.. but it was better than nothing.) However, with his friends, he was happier. He didn't even know how to act around friends, but he tried.. Even if deep down Midoriya knew he couldn't trust anybody-- And he didnt trust anybody-- he still tried. Oh well, why didn't he trust them? Simple. He had the mindset that, 'If they knew he was quirkless, it would be middle school all over again.' He was protecting himself, just in case they found out. If they found out and stopped being friends with him, well it would be okay. He was prepared. He had to be. So, in the end, he didn't tell anybody about his old quirkless ways.
