As a Forest Dweller, a type of inkling hybrid thought to be nothing but a myth, Aries has to be careful about his appearance toward the world outside the forest filled with inklings ranging from believing his kind exist, and others would never believe in it. He had been taking care of two abandoned pups until his 16th birthday, that night, the annual manic blood moon came, making the dwellers lose control and their wolf sides come out.
What happens when Aries loses control for the first time and crashes into the daughter of a scientist that believes in the dwellers window?

Something weird is going on in their world, skeletons of all sorts just coming and going, many surface dwellers blame it on the expanse of the underground, but skeptics believe this world has become over-run with travelers, from all sorts of alternate worlds. Through a series of hapless run-ins, Micheal ends up with four skeletal roommates with bad attitudes and maybe a bit more than the evil on the surface. Nightmare, Horror, Dust and Killer were looking for a home and who was Micheal to deny? He surely didn't want to be unkind. Vi was initially annoyed with the three they considered 'Care Bears' three skeletons that cared a bit too much for their mental health, later on meeting Error, someone they wanted to be better for, Vi might've fallen for the four's words, but they have a lot of hurt inside them, how could they ever be good enough for Dream, Blue, Ink, and Error? Vi would have to be patient with themselves for once. Pluto was unlucky. It was unlucky that he ran into Fell, it was unlucky that he got himself a job at Ebott cities psych ward, where he happened to meet quite the plethora of skeletons and more only kept on coming, gaining Fell as a roommate and Classic, Sci, and Outer as neighbors, Pluto felt maybe he could form attachments again.
