so, if your soulmate dies before you ever meet them, they become your guardian angel and watch over you without you actually finding out. you are the only person who can see or hear your soulmate if they are your angel, and it's a 'rule' between all of the angels that you can't interact with your soulmate or even let them know you're an angel, just protect them.
story will have slight angst and fluff/soft moments.
dream goes by his real name in this book, 'clay', and george of course goes by george. {just wanted to clear that up!} story will be written in george's point of view. also, george is 16 and clay is 17 in the book.
this is an au i came up with myself, i really hope this hasn't been used before. if you want to use this au and write it with your own otp that's fine, but credit would be appreciated. i call this 'angel au' : )

quick disclaimer: if i knew either of the boys were uncomfortable with fanfiction, i wouldn't be writing this. they have talked about the situation before and have said on video that they are completely fine with it and actually have read fanfiction before and found it funny. i think it is okay to ship respectfully since we got the green light, but do not push it on them !! just wanted to include this. also i will not be writing smut about them.
book will be written in lowercase for viewing reasons.
