When Lyla's parents loose everything they've ever known, they have to move to a small town. Lyla's used to a life in the city, with all the lights, parties, and people. She's seen as a stuck up snob who could care less about everyone else. When Lucas see's her drawing under a tree, Lyla gains her first true friend. Along the way, she falls for Lucas, which make some complications for their relationship. At first, she doesn't understand why they have to move, but with the help of Lucas, she understands more than she wants to.
