In a world of demons and bugs, demon hunters will always turn up. The best of these hunters come from the king himself as his children. Even his younger children, Ghost and Ivy, have banished some small dream demons. His eldest, the Pure Vessel, wants to take on the heart of all of the demons: the Nightmare King. What happens when his life's dream comes true?

After being told he and his sister were being sent off to Summer Camp because of a "Book Report" - though Hollow used that term loosely - that went wrong. Fortunately or unfortunately, that never came to be after a strange owl lead them through a portal and into another world.
