Bio weapons have greatly increased in capability over the years. In the midst of the 2nd Cold War, most large countries had nukes that could dominate any country. And in a matter if seconds, the world went from fear to silence. In moments 24 countries within Eurasia were destroyed, and half the world was covered in radiation. But nobody got the last laugh here. Russia had already launched there's and it was heading straight for Canada and the US. Within a day anyone living on the surface of the Earth would be dead in seconds. A solid 1/4 of the surface was scorched and loaded with magma, and everything was covered in nuclear waste and it was raining fallout. But, being the year it was, bombs weren't just loaded with uranium. And those additional features would reek pure hell over the Earth.
