Without early memories or a family to tell her who she is, Andelyn instincitively knows that her life is in constant flux because she is hiding form someone dangerous and impossibly to identify. When she is kidnapped by mysterious strangers, her only escape is on an abandoned boat that rushes her through a secret underground river passage to Meridia, a land hidden inside the earth. 

Buried deep within the walls of the palace there, Andelyn discovers a legend snow the Envisage: a person with the uncanny power to save or destroy Meridia with their thoughts. But why doesn't anyone seem to know who the Envisage is, and why are they so afraid to find out? 

With the unresolved mystery of who she was running from in the first place, Andelyn begins to wonder if all of this could have something to do with her. Is she hiding from this Envisage that people seem so afraid to speak of? And why? 

This much is clear: sometimes you risk more than your own fate when you find out who you are, especially if what you should have feared most is what you are capable of... and especially if fear changes everything.All Rights Reserved

Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that? Not a bad attempt in my opinion, although it could be better... Try it out! Hopefully you won't regret it, otherwise - take care!

A shapeless, ancient being bound to her soul - once a guardian, now corrupted. Speaks in whispers only she can hear. Doesn't understand humanity but is curious about Ren. Not necessarily evil, but extremely morally gray. Feeds on fear and memory. Slowly begins to regain pieces of its identity through Ren's actions.
