Sixteen-year-old Lyla Marina Silverfate is a mermaid. 

She lives along the mermaid realm,in a place known as Bermuda. At her age time comes for the 16th moon birthday for all Merfolk and when the moon chooses their destiny.

Lyla's destiny is surprising, and the most feared but she is not alone. Five other mermaids are chosen to be given a quest by travelling on land to find a piece of an ancient puzzle, but the piece she was to look for is the most important. 

Lyla and her friends come across the human world and she meets a boy, who holds the piece of the puzzle that she needs. But Lyla soon realises that the piece, the boy and her fate is more important than you think.

The scientists have been doing a research on the mermaids, a mythical sea dwelling creature, for years now. One day, a senior scientist, Jean Louister finally discovers the existence of the mermaids. The team sets out on a mission to capture the said creature for their further research and experiments. During the capturing, they succeed in taking a mermaid but in return they lose one of their members, who think is dead now and there's no use saving him. Jean Louister. But a beautiful mermaid takes a daring step and attempts to save the dying human being. Will he be alive? What chemistry will the two species have? Will it be a happy ending or..a terrifying horror nightmare? Read out to find what happens. Credits for whatever stuff goes to the rightful owners obviously so don't come to me about that.
