A couple months into a corona virus pandemic that is taking place, the young college student, Jordyn Bennett, gets the news broken to her by her parents that the family is moving. She was well aware that they would eventually have to move for a while, that was no news to her. However, the new location of the home that awaits the Bennett family is what left her and her sister, Aubrey, completely speechless. They weren't just moving to the other side of town like they had close to six years ago. They weren't even staying in California altogether. The family of four was moving to Texas.
