Five years after the first akuma attac Hogmoth got finally defeated and Marinette finds herself a famous designer, well known in Europe and head off her company.

Gabriel Agreste got in prision for manipulating people to his own advantige and his miraculous is savely, together with the peacock brooch wich got cured, stored in Marinette's guardians box hidden in her apartment. 

To Marinette, Adien, who got even hotter as he matured, is a great inspiration for her Designs, that he is modeling for her brand is a blessed bonus.

She and Luka Luka didn't work out, as his tours went all over the world and they knew they couldn't keep a long distance realationship. 

She hadn't transformed for years, as Ladybug was not needed anymore to save Paris and it's people from Akuma attacs.

That concluded to Adrien getting over his imense Ladybug crush day by day.

He and Kagami had broken up too, but because of different reasons:

Kagami was just to clingy for him, to attached but still cold, like it was, wich he knew it wasn't, only an act.

So there he was, modeling for the new brand "Dupan-Cheng Designs" and the best man of Nino, who finally married Alya.

At there best friends wedding Adrien and Marinette meet once again and Adrien finds himselfcatching feelings for her...

But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. One Miraculous Circus by wrenn_willows

A miraculous x greatest showman au (and some college au thrown in there). A sad start when Marinette Dupain-Cheng ends up living alone after a tragic accident. She starts a job at the famous Agreste circus to gain money and it is here she becomes face to face with a familiar boy, Adrien Agreste. Although she recognises him he can't return the favour as a mask covers her face, to him she is only known as Ladybug, the famous acrobat. If only he knew his close friend Marinette was the one he was falling for... In this story, there is no magic, Chat Noir and Ladybug, as well as other characters, are in this story but they're not displayed with the miraculous/magic or akumatizations or anything like that. There is some adrienette, ladrien and ladynoir throughout this story but I have included a tiny bit of lukanette and adrigami in there too (sorry if you don't like those ships, I don't either, to be honest, but those relationships add a little more random detail to the storyline so why not). Characters aren't made by me - a fanfiction based on the show Miraculous Ladybug.
