The Day They Came

A piercing screaching noise filled the air. It was faint, but annoying. I looked up towards my parents to see if they could hear it too, my dad looked unfazed.

I look around, there are some on the ground, screaming for it to stop, my mum was among them. I somehow knew that they were talking about the high pitched screach. Some seemed as if it didn't bother them, or they didn't hear it.

I itched at my ear, the noise was bothering me slightly. My dad was next to my mum, asking her what's wrong.

Then they came. They dropped out of the sky, their guns raised.

Olivia Cruz had a normal life, two loving parents, average grades in school. Until hell dropped from the sky in government official clothes. They came, they took, they went, never to be seen again.

Now, 5 years later, they come again, but this time in to her school. This time however, they don't take, they left.
