In the kingdom of demons, nothing is ever boring.

Scott has worked as a Royal Guard since he turned 18. With the rocky relationship with his girlfriend, not taking life seriously, and tendency to sleep around with his fellow guards, Scott is not necessarily the greatest person to be around. Even though the Queen's death is the reason for his job, he sees it as pointless. The King is the most powerful demon to exist, and their kingdom hasn't had a war during the entirety of his reign. As he works on the night shift, he has never really come in contact with the King. However, this all changes on the anniversary of the Queen's death, and suddenly, as his life begins crashing down around him, life seems a little bit more serious.

Riano is the King of demons, and even though it has been 13 years since his wife died, he is far from getting over her. Life is dull, and pointless. The only reason he sticks around is to make sure his 16 year-old son is alright. Once he knows his son can take care of the people, he plans to kill himself. Having never let go of his grief, it is slowly driving him insane. It gets to it's breaking point on the anniversary of his wife's death, and he almost exits early. That is, he would have if the guard on the night shift hadn't broke into his room. Trying to keep his emotions a secret while dealing with the feisty guard is proving difficult, but at least he has something better to do than be alone with his thoughts.

E.B is Riano's son, and he is the general of the demon army. Being he is the second most powerful demon, his father being the first of course, he is far to respected to have the fun he wants to be having. He has been training troops at their neighboring planet for 2 years now, and is excited to see his father again. After he finishes stealing the troop's pineapples and virginity of course.
