"Hey, Townes. Isn't that the boy who was here couple months ago?" I look up from wiping the tables, and glanced at the tv. My jaw dropped open, I blinked couple times to make sure I wasn't just seeing things, and that in fact, the boy that was on tv looked like the same boy who was here couple months ago.
"I-" I paused, and read the name on the bottom of the screen. "But, that says Harry Styles, the man that was here, wasn't Harry. It was Edward," I muttered.
Clicking my tongue, I went back down, wiping the stubborn stain on the table. After the applause on the tv, my eyes glanced at the tv again. The artist named Harry came up, one hand grabbing the microphone while his other was just under, holding onto the stand. The respectful crowd falling silent as music started playing.
"She's got a family in Carolina"
Laura coughs, "I don't know Townes... he sounds just like this so-called Edward."
"So far away, but she says I remind her of home" Huh, sounds like something I said.
"Feeling oh so far from home,
She never saw herself as a west coaster
Moved all the way 'cause her grandma told her"
I laughed awkwardly, "Well, cant be me. I love the west coast." I joked.
"Townes," I looked up, but Laura's mouth was closed. Turning around, I looked at the tv, my body feeling numb.
"Towns, better swim before you drown"
