"Nathan." I whisper, "Can I ask you a question."
"Sure," he replies looking over at me.
"What do you think of me?" I ask my heart thumping against my rib cage.
He looks away for a little bit then focuses his attention back to me, and I find myself looking into his piercing blue eyes. "What I think of you,
"Do you really want me to answer that?" He questions.
"Yes," I breathe out.
His hands find my waist and I shiver, not because of the cold air, but because his piercing blue eyes are holding my green ones captive.
Before I know it, his lips are pressed to mine and I find myself tangling my hand in his brown and curly locks as I kiss him back just as forcefully.
He pulls away and rests his forehead against mine, his breathing ragged as he tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Is it bad if I admit that I like you?"
I stare at him blankly, "What?"
"Nicole, I like you," he sighs "I honestly don't know for how long, but I barely admitted it to myself."
