    his best friend, aka the man that secretly loved and that helped him through his panick attacks and self harm, is now gone.
    yes, he was often with him for his cases, but that wasn't the only thing that the detective needed from him.
    time passed slowly, but not so slowly his mental state deteriorated.
    just when sherlock was about to end it all, he got a text that changed everything.
