She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves. Angels is a completed book that I've been putting a lot of my time into for the last year. The main idea of the book is that it takes place in a world very similqr to ours, but is also inhabited by a race of "Angels" who are extremely hard to tell apart from humans. There's virtually no way for the ordinary human to know angel from human, especially since the humans are oblivious to their existence. These Angels aren't as you'd assume them to be, though. Angels find joy terrorizing humans from as harmless as making them forget what they were looking for when they entered the room, to luring children away from families just to kill them, assume their form, and later kill their whole family. Some humans have figured it out. We call these the Angel hunters. Those who avoid the law to stop the worst of these by any means possible.
