It all started when they decided that they didn't like the way things were going, that they didn't want it to be like this. They didn't like how our government was controlling and monitoring our every move. Since we lost World War 3 to the Chinese they had been fighting. Fighting to get it all back. And when they did, they made things even worse, they tattooed us with numbers, kidnapped many of us and trained us, brainwashed us to be their slaves, their servants. I couldn't take it anymore. My family could not live like this. I couldn't live like this. Someone had to do something... ----------------- Aurora is a sixteen year old girl who is kind of unique in a way. 《《《《《This is some VERY old writing of mine. Enter if you dare clichés, terrible grammar, and a story with next-to-no scenery descriptions. I might revisit this idea later, so I'm leaving it up for now.》》》》》 Crying. It's an act to show emotion. It is only supposed to be seen by those around you when it happens, but here, it's different. In this dystopian world, you can see, via hologram, the last time someone cried. There are people who use this to manipulate and antagonize others. Anna is the center of our story. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.
