It's Maggie Brooks's first year at Eden Hall Academy and she can't wait to dive into a school year full of fun. Down to earth and understanding good girl, Maggie finds herself getting into a crowd her brother and his friends don't necessarily want her being around.

The Varsity hockey boys have been Maggie's 'brothers' for a few years and when a new squad of boys replace their brothers' slots, Maggie finds herself appealed to the group. Within the group, hotshot cowboy, Dwayne Robertson, catches her eye.

She finds her falling for the enemy, and rather quickly, that she doesn't know what to do. Does she obey her brother and stick with Varsity or does she disobey all rules and go with JV?
